More travel, you said. Less weight, you said. We listened.
Refined and improved for 2013 is our Escarpe range of suspension Trail bikes, built around our custom hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame with 140mm of rear travel delivered via our Vitus V-Link four-bar suspension system.
With 140mm front travel and an upgraded components package, the Escarpe I mixes a play-bike hooligan character with the light-touch manners to behave itself on long-haul epics or lung-busting climbs. Mile-munching with your mates? Buzzing about in the woods? Enduro-style events? Alpine adventure? It’s all good…

140mm travel V-Link frame and RockShox Revelation RL forks
Our lightweight hydro-formed multi-butted, heat treated 6061-T6 aluminium frame features 140mm of rear wheel travel via a four-bar V-Link activated suspension platform which eliminates pedal bob yet remains fully active at all times. Suspension travel is controlled by a RockShox Monarch RT3 air shock which offers infinite adjustability and silky smooth performance. All pivots run on sealed cartridge bearings providing supple performance with low maintenance. A replaceable derailleur hanger comes as standard.
A RockShox Revelation RL Solo Air fork offers 140mm of buttery smooth, infinitely adjustable travel with a tapered steerer and 15mm Maxle Lite thru-axle for precise, positive tracking through corners and rock gardens or any other obstacle the trail throws at you.
SRAM groupset
The SRAM groupset combines X9 shifters and X7 front derailleur with an X9 Type 2 rear derailleur and a SRAM S1400 2×10 chainset which combines lightweight with a full compliment of gears to meet the demands of any AM challenge.
Alpine descents require powerful brakes and the Avid Elixir 5 hydraulic disc brakes will not disappoint; with a 180mm rotor up front and a 160mm rotor at the rear for powerful, fade free braking performance.
Finishing kit
A lightweight Easton EA70 XC wheelset reduces rotational weight for faster acceleration and improved climbing prowess. Proven Maxxis High Roller tyres combine predictable handling with low rolling resistance for complete confidence in all conditions. Completing the package is a durable and great value mix of Easton EA50 and Vitus finishing kit.
