During the 2013 race season Vitus racked up numerous wins across Europe and the UK through the efforts and dedication of the An-Post Chain Reaction Sean Kelly team. This collaboration has allowed us to refine our already successful Vitesse platform and fine tune it to facilitate the requirements of our professional race team. The Vitesse Team is our replica team race bike which is the same model as used by Sam Bennet to win stage 5 of the 2013 Tour of Britain; race proven; race winning; race ready!

Lightweight T700/T800 HM-UD Carbon Frame & Fork – 970g Frame Weight – UCI Approved

Our race proven frameset has been revised and updated for 2014 in conjunction with the An Post Chain Reaction Sean Kelly Team. We have used a mix of T700 and T800 HM-UD carbon and fine-tuned the carbon lay-up to increase lateral stiffness in the bottom bracket and chainstay area for improved power transfer whilst retaining the vertical compliance that gives the Vitesse a high degree of comfort on harsh road surfaces.

A matching T700 HM-UD full carbon fork with a tapered steerer has also been revised for increased front end stiffness and improved handling with pinpoint accuracy allowing you to push the boundaries on fast paced descents. Our semi-sloping race inspired geometry instills confidence with every ride to further enhance your riding experience.

Shimano Dura Ace & FSA Groupset

Gear selection is taken care of by Shimano’s top tier Dura Ace 9000 shifters and derailleurs offering flawless shifting time after time. FSA S-LK takes care of accelerating and stopping; an S-LK Light carbon chainset with standard 53t x 39t rings provides the driving force at the heart of the transmission. The S-LK dual pivot brakes combine superior stopping power with light weight to help you maintain control in any situation.

Easton EA90 SL Wheelset & FSA S-LK Finishing Kit
Easton have given their top aluminium wheelset an overhaul for the 2014 season with the launch of the all new Echo hubs and wider rim profiles. The new Echo hubs have been created with improved durability and performance in mind. An extra-wide bearing stance places the bearings further apart which translates into increased bearing life due to a reduction in stress and flex. The hub body has also been enlarged to boost torsional stiffness and increase power transfer.

The rims have also undergone some enhancements and now feature a wider 17.5mm (internal) rim width. The rims are also fully certified Road Tubless compatible.
The wheels are wrapped in Continental UltraSport II 700 x 23c rubber for low rolling resistance and predictable handling.

A custom coloured Prologo Scratch Pro saddle offers comfort and performance for long days in the saddle.
FSA S-LK components complete the finishing kit. The S-LK carbon bars and seatpost offer supreme light weight and additional comfort due to carbon’s ability to reduce vibrations being transmitted from uneven road surfaces through the contact points to the rider.?
