Lightweight T700 HM-UD Carbon Frame & Fork

The NEW 2014 Venon frameset features a T700 HM-UD construction for lightweight and durability. Our tubeset has been designed with comfort in mind for century rides and performance sportives. Slender seatstays have been pre-curved for increased vertical compliance which translates into a smoother ride and reduced road vibration. The bottom bracket area is oversized to improve lateral stiffness and improved power transfer; up front the tapered headtube increases front end stiffness for improved tracking and handling. 
A matching T700 HM-UD full carbon fork with tapered steerer adds comfort and enhanced steering precision. 
Our endurance geometry features a more relaxed riding position with the addition of slightly taller headtubes to maintain all day comfort and reduced lower back stress. This offers an optimum centralized riding position for improved stability and also enhances the overall handling characteristics.

Shimano Ultegra & FSA Groupset

Trickle down technology from Shimano’s top tier Dura Ace groupset now features on the new Shimano Ultegra 6800 11 speed shifters and deraileurs with improved ergonomics and enhanced shifting performance. 
An FSA Gossamer Pro compact chainset with 50t x 34t rings offers a wide gear ratio when paired up with the 11t – 28t Ultegtra 11 speed cassette. Tektro R540 dual pivot brakes offer reliable, predictable stopping power. 
A Vitus chain catcher comes as standard on all of our carbon frame models.

Easton EA70 Wheelset & Vitus Elite Finishing Kit

Easton have overhauled their EA70 wheelset to bring it bang up to date with the latest trend for wider rim profiles. The rims now feature a wider 17.5mm (internal) rim width which provides a stiffer rim and alters the profile of the tyre to provide a larger contact patch for extra grip when cornering hard. Additional enhancements include the all new V5 hubset which offers improved durability and reduced maintenance.
High volume Kenda 25c tyres offer added comfort and a larger contact patch for improved grip. 
Vitus Elite finishing kit completes the components package. Our Elite series alloy bars, stem and seatpost provide a lightweight and dependable components package which have been colour coded to match the frame decals.?
