Our flagship carbon frame married to an affordable components package for race-day performance without the pro peloton price tag. Meet your new favourite bike.
Ten minutes or ten seconds. One second. One-tenth of a second. What’s the difference? Not much, in the workaday world. Winning or not, in the sprint to the line.
Meet the Venon, a bike built from the appreciation of what it means to be different.
That difference manifests itself in the frame that lies at the heart of this bike, a frame that may mean the difference between a new personal best or another day of not quite good enough.
But far from being a one-trick racing pony, the Vitus Venon is equally able to mix it up with your mates when the hammer drops on the Sunday spin or to make short work of long-haul epics.
The Venon is ready to rip from start line to podium.
Lightweight High Modulus UD Carbon Frame – 950g Frame Weight
Custom-moulded super high-modulus Uni-Directional carbon fibre frame with sloping geometry for race performance and long-distance ease, featherweight with strength resulting in a comfortable and responsive ride; the Vitus Venon is a bike built to put fresh air between you and the chasing pack.
Shimano & FSA Groupset
The groupset features a mix of Shimano Ultegra 6700 and FSA with slick, positive shifting from Shimano Ultegra 6700 shifters and derailleurs. The heart of the drivetrain is an FSA Energy 53/39 chainset which offers the perfect ratio of gears for midweek club races and weekend sportives when combined with the 12-25t cassette. FSA Gossamer brakes will increase your confidence on descents through reliable and effective stopping power.
Mavic Ksyrium Wheelset & Schwalbe Tyres
The wheelset on any bike can transform how the bike handles and performs. Lightweight Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheels will accelerate fast and will perform exceptionally when the road starts to climb. Handling will be enhanced on the flats and the descents with Schwalbe ZX tyres pushing you to test the limits of your abilities with new found confidence.
