Hydroformed Double-Butted Alloy Frame With Mudguards & Pannier Racks
Built around the same hydroformed double-butted alloy frame as its little brother with an upgraded double-butted alloy fork with durable matte lacquer finish. The relaxed geometry and handlebar position offers a more upright riding position which improves visibility over traffic and city obstacles and improved ergonomics for inner-city commuting. We have added a pannier rack which offers enough stowage space for your briefcase or bag. A built in rear LED light will ensure maximum visibility to other road users giving additional safety and peace of mind.

We have also included full length mudguards for those unforeseen rainy days to help keep the mud and grime from the city streets off your clothes and shoes.

Components & Transmission
The Velu 1 has an upgraded component spec which includes a Shimano 8-speed groupset comprising of Alivio shifters, Deore and Acera derailleurs for dependable no-fuss shifting. In combination with the triple Shimano chainset offering up a total of 24 gears extending the bike’s capabilities into the realm of leisure cycling and touring.

A lightweight alloy wheelset will keep you rolling along with minimal effort with low rolling resistance and additional puncture protection being offered by the Continental Contact tyres. Low maintenance and dependable Vitus V-Brakes offer effective stopping power; the inclusion of a kick stand will allow you to leave your bike freestanding whilst you stop at the newsagents to pick up the daily paper of your choice.
