For those who like their wheels that little bit bigger – the singlespeed VEE-1 now in 29er flavour. Suck it and see.

We took our VEE-1 urban attack machine and reworked the frame sizing and geometry to accommodate 29” wheels. The added benefit of lower rolling resistance from the larger diameter wheelset increases speed and allows the 29er to roll over city obstacles with consummate ease!

From potholes to cobblestones, kerbs and manholes, the Vitus VEE-1 29er displays all the attributes required to make daily attacks on the urban jungle.  Simplicity in style and nature, the VEE-1 29er offers a low maintenance package that screams for unadulterated fun through city streets, towpaths and even fireroad exploits!

The tough alloy frame is kitted out with no fuss components; rigid steel forks ensure direct and responsive handling whilst the dependable and effective Vitus V-Brakes provide the stopping power. At the heart of the singlespeed transmission is a FSA Vero chainset running a 42t chainring and 18t sprocket to give a city friendly gear ratio that will handle all but the steepest hills.

Tough 29” wheels with stainless steel spokes are wrapped in Kenda Small Block Eight tyres which blend low rolling resistance with optimal grip for concrete and asphalt surfaces yet retain enough grip to permit sporadic trail excursions.

Want to join the big-wheel revolution? The VEE-1 29er is right up your alley.
