Description

The 2015 Energie VR takes performance to new levels with the ultra trick SRAM Force CX1 groupset; a frameset with full internal cable routing; disc brake specific and tons of clearance for high volume CX tyres and increased mud clearance; the new Energie VR is a thoroughbred racer that will excel in any conditions!

Cyclo-cross was once the sole preserve of hardened racers who wanted to maintain the competitive edge throughout the winter months but in recent years the sport has exploded into the mainstream with races cropping up every weekend throughout Europe and the UK alike!

The Energie VR is our high end full carbon PRO cyclo-cross race bike and has been designed specifically to meet the demands of all out cyclo-cross assaults! This high performance race oriented steed will be equally at home on longer winter training rides or anywhere in between. The increased strength and tyre clearance also makes this a phenomenal bike for back country roads and forest parks alike, when you take in to consideration that numerous Pro Tour teams use cyclo-cross bikes during the early season classics races you can really appreciate the potential and diversity that this bike can offer!

The Energie VR features the new CX specific SRAM CX1 groupset including hydraulic disc brakes; WTB CX Team i19/Formula wheelset and Vitus finishing kit to complete the package.

High-Modulus T700 HM-UD Carbon Frame & Fork
Our cyclo-cross disc brake specific frameset features a High-Modulus T700 HM-UD Carbon construction for superior strength to weight with increased tyre and mud clearance for high volume cyclo-cross tyres. Full internal cable routing has been specifically designed to prevent ingress of mud and water and to increase comfort when shouldering the bike during cyclo-cross race situations. A High-Modulus T700 HM-UD Carbon fork features a tapered carbon steerer and beefed-up fork blades to ensure precise tracking and steering with the ability to handle the rigours of competitive cyclo-cross racing.
Bottle cage mounts have been added to expand the potential for all year multi-purpose use.
