We worked collaboratively with the professional UCI Pro-Continental cycling team, An-Post CRC throughout the design and test phase of the Vitesse EVO, with a comprehensive testing and feedback programme. This allowed our designers to optimise the Vitesse EVO, achieving the perfect balance of ride characteristics to make this bike competitive in all conditions- from the spring classics to the high mountains of Europe. The Vitesse EVO is a proven, professional race-winning platform, and is the bike of choice for professional team, Vitus Pro cycling in 2020.
The Vitesse EVO is now a disc brake only frameset, with full internal cable routing, and a UCI certified frame and fork. With semi-compact geometry and lots of flexibility in its set-up, you’re guaranteed to get the position you want. The Vitesse EVO is renowned for its composed handling being both balanced and stable, yet nimble enough to pilot through a bunch sprint.
The Vitesse Evo CR Disc features the same great frame as the rest of the Vitesse EVO models but comes fitted with the redesigned 2019 Shimano 105 R7000 11 speed groupset. This new development of 105 from Shimano adds some superb ‘trickle-down’ technology from the Dura-Ace and Ultegra groupsets. Highlights include the new, smaller shape shifters, powering the 105 R7020 hydraulic flat mount disc brakes. Coming in a gloss black finish, this new groupset looks high-end and slick.
The Vitesse Evo CR comes with the all-new Prime Baroudeur Disc Tubeless Ready clincher wheels as standard, featuring slick graphics, and a very competitive weight. They are paired with the fast and reliable Schwalbe Pro One Microskin Tubeless 25c tyres. The new Vitus Switch axles give you the option to leave the lever handle firmly secured in one of the wheels, or remove it for extra weight saving and aero gains.
The cockpit is built with Prime Doyene Aluminium stem and Zipp Service bar, combined with a Vitus 27.2mm carbon layback seat post, helping to keep weight down and take the road buzz out of your ride. It’s finished with the versatile and super comfortable Prologo Kappa EVO PAS saddle.
