We love the singlespeed simplicity of the Vee 1 but it’s horse for courses – if it’s hills you need to tackle, then it’s gears you need to have.

So we took the Vee I and made the Vee 27. The same philosophy of bare-bones biking fun, only this time with gears – 27 of them to be precise.

It’s still based around the same tough, no-nonsense Vitus alloy frame – complete with rack mounts and bottle bosses – and rigid hi-tensile steel fork, but quality SRAM X5/SR Suntour transmission opens new options for city commuting or weekend fun in the hills.

Finished in a stylish and stealthy matt black, the Vee 27 features strong alloy wheels and high-volume slick tyres to soak up the urban landscape, while low-maintenance V-brakes and tough Vitus finishing kit round out a great value city steed.
