Vitus Bikes welcome Colin Ross as Brand Ambassador

 Northern Ireland based MTB guide and instructor joins Vitus Bikes as a supported  athlete to assist with testing and development of new Enduro and trail bikes.

 

Colin Ross aka “Rosco” is a 5 time Irish National DH Champion and has represented Ireland at the world championships 6 times. With a background in fitness instructing and MTB coaching Colin set up NI based “Rosco Lines” four years ago to cater specifically to those seeking MTB training on and off the bike.

“Vitus Bikes would like to extend a warm welcome to Rosco as he joins the development team” said Ian McIntyre, House Brands Manager at Chain Reaction Cycles. He continued “Colin will assist us specifically in the development of our Enduro bikes going forward, riding the Sommet model for the remainder of the 2013 season and then moving onto our new 27.5” platform next season.”

With the opening of three new National Trail Centres and the launch of MountainBikeNI.com Northern Ireland has become a “bucket list” location for many European riders. Colin is regularly out on these trails providing coaching and guiding services to both visitors and locals.

“I’m continuing to ride DH but have been doing a huge amount of trail and enduro riding in recent years. I’m delighted to join the Vitus brand and looking forward to putting the Sommet to good use on the trails.”
