Vitus Bikes 2016 Road Range Officially Released

It’s that time of year again when our latest creations are released for the coming season. As ever the new Vitus range for 2016 features some all new models, continued development of our award winning bikes and most importantly better specifications and value for our customers. 

The 2016 range of road bikes from Vitus includes an updated Zenium, all-new full carbon Venon bike featuring bolt through axles, disc brakes and full Shimano drivetrains and component/price improvements to the ever-popular Vitesse Evo.

The Razor platform is a fantastic introduction into the world of road cycling! Featuring a lightweight 6061-T6 alloy frame, the Razor VR has been designed with all year riding and commuting in mind. Up front we have added a T700 HM-UD carbon bladed fork with alloy steerer to reduce road buzz from rough sections of road for increased rider comfort. Additionally pannier rack mounts have been included to broaden the bikes capabilities as an all rounder for commuting and social riding.Shimano’s Sora groupset with Vitus wheelset and finishing kit complete the package. Weighing in at 9.36kg/20.64lbs (size 54cm) the Razor VR combines incredible value, sharp looks handling into a bike that’s equally at home on a year-round commute as it is in the sportive peloton.

As disc brakes are becoming an ever more popular choice with road and sportive riders alike we have expanded the Zenium disc range to bring you even better value, including the two SL models!

The Zenium Disc features a lightweight alloy frame with a full carbon fork; ALL NEW Tiagra 10 speed gearing; Fulcrum Racing Sport Disc wheelset and TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes with Vitus finishing kit. With tyre clearance up to 28mm wide tyres the Zenium offers great all round, all road capabilities. The Venon range is an all new bike developed by Vitus over the last 18months – featuring bolt through axles, disc brakes and full Shimano drive trains / Fulcrum wheels.

Our L range of bikes have a components package that has been tailored to better suit the female form and riding position for optimum comfort and enhanced performance. Weighing in at: 8.67kg/19.11lbs (size 52cm) the Venon L will help you attain your cycling goals in comfort and style, whether you are tackling your first century ride or joining the A group on your local club rides!

The Vitesse EVO is our flagship full carbon, UCI accredited bike. Delivering top end performance the Vitesse Evo is equally comfortable at the sharp end of the peloton as it is covering 200km sportives and long days in the saddle.

The Vitesse EVO Team features a Shimano Dura Ace groupset with a carbon FSA SLK crankset; Vision T30 wheelset and FSA SLK carbon finishing kit to complete the package. Raced throughout the 2014 & 2015 seasons by the An Post Chain Reaction UCI Continental Team in some of the most gruelling European roads including the cobbled sections of Paris/Roubaix; the Evo is truly race tested; race proven; race ready!
