Vitus Sommet
Keeping up with the trend, all Sommet bikes get a dropper post and 1×11 gearing this year. The Sommet VRX comes complete with the industry-leading RockShox Pike fork, and pricing on the Sommet line is much more competitive this year too…
The 2016 Sommet VRX has been updated to feature an improved build kit for this season. With a RockShox Pike RC fork; 1 x drivetrain comprising of SRAM X1 shifting & RaceFace Affect chainset; Shimano SLX hydraulic disc brakes; Nukeproof OKLO stealth dropper seatpost; WTB/Novatec wheelset and a Nukeproof cockpit – this is the ultimate “Bang for buck” bike.
Vitus Dominer
Already proven on the Downhill World Cup circuit with Vitus Factory rider Sacha Bickerstaff taking a WIN in Switzerland earlier this summer, this year’s all-new Dominer has been developed from the Sommet suspension platform and is set to turn heads in 2016. RockShox suspension and a Shimano Zee groupset are paired with Nukeproof finishing kit.
Vitus Escarpe 2016
Featuring Manitou suspension forks and RockShox rear shocks across the collection, the Escarpe comes with lots of spec options this year as well as the use of 1×11 gearing and is available in 27.5” and 29” wheel options.
The Escarpe Pro featured in the DIRT 100 as one of the Top 100 Trail Bikes of 2015. The culmination of 18 months of development, custom tuning work from Rockshox and testing – this 135mm trail shredder is one of THE most capable bikes on the market.
Vitus Sentier 2016

Vitus Rapide 2016
A dedicated and thoroughbred race proven platform, the new Rapide 29 is aimed at riders seeking a high level performance bike for cross-country and marathon racing. The Ultra-Light T700 HM-UD carbon frame features refined geometry and impeccable handling characteristics optimised for 29” wheels. The Rapide 29 features a RockShox Reba RL fork; SRAM X1 shifting with Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes; WTB wheelset and Vitus finishing kit to complete the package.
Vitus Nucleus 2016
Available with 27.5” or 29” wheels, the Nucleus largely remains the same for 2016 and with a more attractive price tag. BikeRadar summed up the 2015 version as “A competent, fun and surprisingly capable trail muncher with no significant weaknesses thanks to its air-sprung fork.”
