With the biggest weekend of the year just past – we’re delighted to report that the Vitus Bikes Pro’s from An Post – Chain Reaction took a number of titles around the globe!
Opening the account was Ryan Mullen’s victory in the Irish National TT Championships (More here) on Thursday evening. Having blasted his way to a World Championships podium last season Mullen was delighted to take the win in the U23 category and due to an update in the rules for 2015 – was also crowned Irish Elite National TT Champion.
The Vitus Chrono also proved to be the winning bike at the Lithuanian National Championships were Paulius Siskevicius won the Elite Men’s TT followed by his fellow countryman and An Post- Chain Reaction team mate Aidis Kruopis taking the National Road Race Title.
Sadly Ryan Mullen could not ward off a charging field at the Irish Road Race Championships were he failed to defend his jersey from 2014. With an amazing ride Conor Dunne spent most of the day in the break at the Irish Champs making a brave solo bid for home with two laps remaining. He eventually finished with a Bronze medal. Our congratulations go to Eddie Dundar who took 2nd place at the Irish Champs and picked up the U23 National Jersey. Eddie has previously ridden for us as a guest with An Post – Chain Reaction and having taken 2nd in both the TT and Road Race at this year’s Nationals is sure to be one to watch this season!
Congratulations to all the An Post – Chain Reaction squad. Did you race in your National Champs? Let us know how you got on!
