Sean Kelly’s special edition carbon road bike

Earlier this month we announced legendary Irish road racer Sean Kelly as our brand ambassador, and as part of our celebrations we invited leading members of the cycling press to Vitus headquarters where they met the design team and saw the new bikes.

Online video production company MTBCut recorded all the action, and have produced a cool little edit featuring Sean Kelly’s special edition carbon road bike. Vitus Brand Manager Brant Richards takes you through the component choices and frame highlights on this high-end race machine, which will be available May/June 2011. Watch it now:

"Vitus bikes have been off the radar for a few years but Irish racing legend Sean Kelly, who rode for the brand in their Eighties heyday, today helped launch their 2011 range, as well as unveiling his own limited edition signature road bike.

When they [Chain Reaction] came to me, I was excited. All the major races I won, 80 percent of them were with Vitus. It’s nice to go forward and be involved with this bike. It’s good to get involved with a company like Chain Reaction because I know they’re in it for the long haul. I think we’ll work well together."
