DOMINER – THE DOWNHILL CHARGER

The Vitus Dominer marries the best attributes from our highly acclaimed Sommet platform, adds more travel and a downhill specific tubeset to create the ultimate race-ready DH rig! For 2019 we have updated the main suspension linkage to run a metric shock and improve the overall suspension performance.

Race-Ready

With RockShox BoXXer triple clamp forks and RockShox Super Delux rear shock providing 200mm of travel at the front and rear, the Dominer handles the toughest trails with ease. Finished with race-ready components package such as a reliable Shimano Zee DH groupset, Maxxis super tacky DHF tyres, Novatec hubs laced onto WTB ST i29 rims and 200mm SRAM Guide RE brakes, the Vitus Dominer has you ready for any downhill challenge.

Main Pivot Location – This is located in a forward position position, this gives natural anti squat/bob when pedalling in the most commonly used 36T setup without relying on excessive chain tension and none of the related pedal feedback.

Chainstay Pivot Location – This pivot is placed in line with the chainstay eliminating any force directed to the shock linkage causing the shock to compressing (pedal bob) due to chain tension. This pivot location also maximises active suspension when using the rear brake; similar to a floating brake design, without the added weight.

Rearward Axle Path – Because of the main pivot location the Dominer has 70mm of travel with reward axle path helping to keep your momentum over square edged hits.

New Linkage Design – New linkage design combined with the super delux metric shock gives a progressive rate with super supple beginning for maximum grip, supportive mid stroke and big hit control.
