Description
Winner of MBR’s “Hardtail of the Year 2014 and 2015” the Vitus Sentier returns for 2016 with an all new frame. From backwoods singletrack to trail centre assaults, the Sentier range of aggressive trail hardtails have been designed with fast paced, action packed epics in mind!
Our new super-light triple-butted 6061-T6 aluminium frame has been combined with a high performance components package to ensure the Sentier delivers on all fronts!
The Sentier 29 features a Manitou Minute Comp fork; Shimano SLX/Deore groupset with WTB wheelset and Vitus finishing kit to complete the package. With fast rolling 29” wheels the Sentier 29 will make it easy for you to smash Strava segments on any trail!
Super-Light Mechanical Formed Triple-Butted 6061-T6 Aluminium Frame
Our super-light 6061-T6 aluminium frame has been triple-butted to reduce weight and tune the tubeset for improved handling and all round performance; for 2016 we have increased standover clearance and have also improved lateral stiffness by adding a 142mm x 12mm through axle configuration. We have also made the Sentier frames Reverb Stealth compatible.
Our aggressive trail geometry has been designed around 29” wheels and a 140mm travel fork; a short headtube and low bottom bracket keep the centre of gravity low to provide improved handling whilst the larger wheel size will roll over roots and rocks with ease.
