Description

It’s all about straight-line speed; reducing aero drag; increasing forward momentum; maximising each riders physical input; seamless cockpit and brake integration; these are the defining attributes of the Vitus Chrono TT frame module!

Working in close collaboration with the An Post Chain Reaction professional cycling team we set out to create the ultimate TT frameset; after extensive R&D, prototyping and testing we have achieved what we set out to do!

This frame module has taken An Post Chain Reaction rider Ryan Mullen to a time of 17:42 for a 10 which is the third fastest 10 in recorded British history! Fellow team mate Marcus Christie also took 7mins off the previous Irish 100m TT record.

The Chrono TT has many features designed around increasing aerodynamic performance; optimised tube shapes; internal cable routing which is mechanical and Di2 compatible; seamless integration of stem and handlebars; integrated brakes; a multi adjustable aero seatpost which offers a wide range of options for saddle positioning and last but not least the new Chrono TT is fully UCI approved!

For 2016 we have made some revisions which our team riders and mechanics requested; we have increased the clearance for the rear wheel to accommodate wider rims and up to a 25c tyre; we have also added direct mound brakes both front and rear; these offer superior braking performance over our older integrated brakes and are much easier to set up and maintain.

Each frame module comprises of the following parts;

• Frame & Fork
• Integrated stem
• Aero Seatpost – Di2 internal battery compatible
• Handlebars and extensions with additional spacers to adjust arm-rest height
• TRP direct mount brakeset (front and rear)
